Honey called the "nectar of the god's" by ancient
Greeks has been frequently cited in recorded  history
for it's medicinal properties. Pure natural unpasteurized raw honey
is mentioned often in the bible and recommended for healing stubborn
wounds, burns and illnesses. Various floral varieties are available
in an unpasteurized form that have not been heated in excess of 37
degees celsius, preserving the natural enzymes and antibiotic properties.

Honey & the Honeybee . . . Honeybees are the only insects that
produce food for humans and are one of the most beneficial insects
in the world. Not only do they give us honey, pollen, propolis, royal
jelly and beeswax, but they pollinate the flowers they visit and are responsible
for pollinating billions of dollars worth of fruit and vegetable crops
every year.
 A healthy bee hive can contain between 40 & 100,000 worker bees but
only one Queen bee. The Queen bee can lay up to 2000 eggs or 3 times
her own body weight per day. A worker bee can produce about one teaspoon
of honey in her six week life span and travels an average of 1600
round trips of up to 6 miles each to collect it. There are as many
different types of honey as there are species of nectar producing
flowers.
